XCOM 2 was first announced in June 2015 and released to great critical response on PC February 2016, but there was no word of a console port, despite the success of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Enemy Within on last gen consoles.
Today Firaxis announced that XCOM 2 will be coming to PlaySation 4 and Xbox One on September 6 2016 in North America and September 9 internationally.
