Marco J Ramirez To Write New Akira Script
You just can’t kill the Akira movie it seems! Warner Bros. haven’t given up on the manga/animated feature spinoff just yet and reports are circulating that a showrunner from the Marvel/Netflix smash hit series Daredevil is now going to tackle the script.
Marco J. Ramirez, who wrote the first season for the Netflix exclusive series, is reportedly joining the creative team behind the project.
While it’s great news to hear, especially given what Ramirez did for Daredevil and pals, but Akira has been a long time in production limbo so we’re not sure if this is going to go anywhere. However, we can certainly hope for the best!
