It is not so long ago that Square Enix were announcing their new arcade game School of Ragnarok and we already have the first gameplay video which started streaming Thursday. In the video we see a battle between two player characters Ivol de Dacart and Balharades.
A game where players will become a student at one at one of the games schools with their own customized avatar and they will be able to battle other player’s avatars. There is a game of chance when it comes to weapons and the ‘school guardians’ as each depend on what school your avatar attends. The latest guardian to be announced after Ivol de Dacart and Balharades is Magical Girl Smile Heart, which does not strike the same note or call of attention as the other two.
Square Enix are hoping for a release of School of Ragnarok sometime in 2015.
Narrator: The world is in its Warring Academies period. The ten academies called “The Ten Schools” that boast great strength were fighting against each other in bloodbath battles called “Academy Wars.”
