Milla Jovovich has taken to her official social media pages to announce that filming for the final movie in the Resident Evil franchise has been postponed. Originally the actress had planned on announcing her plans to travel to Cape Town to begin work on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter but instead announced that she was pregnant:
“This was originally going to be a post to tell you how excited I am about flying to Cape Town, South Africa to begin working on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
But… My husband Paul and I just discovered that we are expecting another baby!!!”
With the stress of filming such a high action production not to mention the stunt work, Jovovich and her husband decided that it best for them and their baby to postpone the shoot until after their child was born. You can read her full statement below:
