Kingdom Broken Hearts

With Birth By Sleep barely a month old, Square Enix and Disney Interactive are treating Kingdom Hearts fans to a new game in the series and a sequel to the highly successful Kingdom Hearts II. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded will be released on the Nintendo DS in January of 2011 and players will once again take on the role of Sora…sort of!
From what we’ve gathered from the news that’s trickling around the internet, Re:Coded will see you take on the role of a ‘second’ Sora and play your way through a digital ‘datascape’ based on the diary entries of Jiminy Cricket.
The game is based on a cellphone game that Japanese players were able to download and play but with the rest of the world had to wait until now/January 2011 to be able to play.
The same gameplay will be in play, you will be able to switch between various types of attack, physical and magical and using your powers you will have to complete various tasks and stop the Heartless. There are a few new tweaks to the system including a support tree with powerful but passive abilities that are unlocked during combat, the longer you chain fights for and the better you fight the more you are able to use to help you in combat.
We’ll have more news on Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded as it happens!

Many of you will have heard of Blizzard’s recent crackdown on cheating in their games, in particular the huge wave of instant bans, warnings and the like that washed over StarCraft II players who gave themselves the edge by using hacks and cheats crafted by three wily money makers.
Well it seems they have messed with the wrong company as Blizzard are looking for blood and they play on getting it having issued  ‘Permaphrost’, ‘Cranix’ and ‘Linuxawesome’, the three men behind the schemes with a lawsuit. Blizzard Entertainment are claiming that three men have damaged the online gameplay experience for thousands of players,  encouraging players to infringe on Blizzard’s copyright and creating the hacks necessary to allow players to cheat.

Despite two of the men being from Canada and the third living in Peru, the case will be presided over in a court in Los Angeles.
Blizzard are seeking damages from the three cheating culprits as well as a cut of the money the men made from selling their hacks on their website.
We will bring you more as the story updates…
