It’s going to be a very interesting Fall season for television, as not only are The Muppets and Agent Carter returning to the small screen, but now Fox have added two very interesting properties to their lineup; Minority Report and DC’s Lucifer.
The Minority Report TV show will be a sequel to the Steven Spielberg/Tom Cruise film which picks up ten years, “after the end of Precrime in DC when one of the three Precogs (Stark Sands) struggles to lead a normal human life, but remains haunted by visions the future, when he meets a detective haunted by her past (Meagan Good) who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.” Max Borenstein, who wrote Godzilla, wrote the pilot.
DC’s Lucifer is based on a character who was first introduced by Neil Gaiman for his The Sandman series, and follows the king of hell as he retires from his throne in search of excitement in Los Angeles. Tom Kapinos, of Californication fame, is the showrunner.
