Live-Action Death Note Cast Unveiled

We’ve gotten the first look at the cast for the upcoming Death Note live-action series in their costumes! This is a brand new series, with a new cast of actors and storyline that will go in an entirely different direction than the previous anime show, spin-offs, musical and the movies.
The image below sees Kento Yamazaki as L, Masataka Kubota as Light Yagami and Mio Yuki as Near.
The show is scheduled to air in Japan from July. Rumours of a Western remake of the series as a movie were confirmed a while back, but it’s currently in production limbo despite a writer and director attached to it.
