Google’s latest doodle nods towards Russia’s anti-gay laws, with an awesome rainbow Olympics logo greeting anyone who uses the search engine today.
In response to Russia’s laws banning pro-gay “propaganda,” Goolge also boldly quotes the Olympic Charter:
“The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.”
The Doodle is being used in other countries too, including the Russian version of Google.
