22 year old Ikenna Uwakah was shot and killed after attempting to sell a PS4. Uwakah advertised online that he had a Playstation 4 for sale for the price of $600, the console retailed at $399 when it was launched in the US but demand saw it sell out with pre-orders taking preference. 21 year old Ronnie Collins spotted the advert and contacted Uwakah and the pair agreed to meet up and sell/buy the console.
At their arranged meeting time and place, it is alleged that Collins shot Uwakah multiple times while sitting in the passenger seat of his car and then fled the scene. Uwakah was driven to the hospital by his girlfriend but didn’t survive his attack. Initial reports indicated Collins took the PS4 as he fled but no clarification or solid information has been given by the police in San Francisco but a charge for attempted robbery is still being held against him.
