With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops today we decided to delve into the Armoury and pull out the BIG GUNS (this list doesn’t contain that many guns though…go figure!). That’s right the @rcade is bringing you a list of the some of the deadliest, pointiest, explodiest weapons around. Ones to tickle, smash, blow and incinerate your funny bone!

Redeemer – Unreal Tournament
Spawning 2 minutes after the game starts, the Redeemer is hell in bullet form. A single shot rocket weapon that allows to remotely control the destination of the explosive device, driving it around corners, down hallways and finally on top of your foolish enemies.
Did you miss your target? No matter, as the splash damage alone is enough to kill your enemy!
The only disadvantage to this bad boy aside from it’s single shot us is that if you choose to guide the missile then you are left standing and open for others to target you.
Anal Probe – Destroy All Humans
Nothing says ‘We come to blow you into pieces’ like a good old fashioned red neck terrorising anal probe. Grab your unsuspecting human, load their…sphincters full of probe goodness and then release them once more. Make sure to charge the weapon fully to extract all that DNA goodness… one of the funniest lethal weapons around.
Blaster – Mega Man Series
Light Arrows – Zelda Series
They are twice as powerful as the Ice and Fire Arrows both Link and Zelda have been known to wield the formidable and spectacular light arrows. Red Turtle Shell – Mario Kart series
One of the most frustrating and necessary weapons to ever be created, the red Turtle shell has been the source for much conflict, brawls and fraternal spats over the years. A homing missile, the red shell will track down the person in front of you, smashing into them and sending them out of control and giving you time to pass them out. Nothing can stop it, not even your best driving skills so you better hope something gets between it and you!
Light Sabre – Star Wars Series
If you don’t get goosebumps watching this…then you are just not cool!
Portal Gun – Portal
This weapon has so much unbelievable potential as a deadly weapon. From breaking into homes and robbing the people living inside, to teleporting a person 100ft into the air. You have to admit the thought of using this weapon against your arch enemy crossed your mind at least 100 times!
Energy Sword – Halo Series
One strike and you are dead! Fast, sharp and to the point, the Energy Sword is a chosen weapon of many of the Covenant’s Elite but if you manage to get your hands on it who says you can’t use it against them. When combined with the Camo ability in Halo: Reach, the Energy Sword transforms the bearer of it into an unstoppable and vicious predator.
Materia – Final Fantasy VII
The source of your power in the Final Fantasy VII games, you were nothing without the correct Materia loaded. From Fire to Firaga, summoning Odin to learning brand new sets of skills and commands, slotted into your weapons and equipment material unlocked awesome power. Power which you needed to destroy Sephiroth and JENOVA.
