Got nothing to say about this one that it can say for itself! If you’re playlist doesn’t include  any Tegan and Sara then you’re a fool!

‘I Was A Fool’ is taken from the Canadian duo’s 7th album Heartthrob. Despite the pop melody, the song is full of melancholy. Play it below and listen to the lyrics and despite the synth and beat, there is an aura of sadness that permeates from the singers. It’s intentional and is inspired by the great power ballads of the 80s that topped charts despite how sad the song really was.
