It is the moment Black Butler fans have been waiting for since the Book of Murder arc anime was released in 2015. An anime film adapted from the Luxury Liner arc of the Black Butler manga has been given the go ahead. The Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic (Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic) is set for release in early 2017.
We will see some familiar names returning to the staff for the anime film from the two previously released films Book of Circus and Book of Murder with Hiroyuki Yoshino writing the script, Noriyuki Abe taking the directing reins and Minako Shiba as chief animation director and also designing the characters. We see a returning cast also of:
Daisuke Ono as Sebastian Michaelis
Maaya Sakamoto as Ciel Phantomhive
Yukari Tamura as Elizabeth Midford
Emiri Katō as Mey-Rin
Hiroki Touchi as Baldroy
Yuuki Kaji as Finnian
Takuma Terashima as Snake
Junichi Suwabe as Undertaker

For anyone who follows the manga, this arc appeared from the 11th to the 14th volumes without Black Butler crew aboard the luxury liner Campania where they are thrown into imminent and impending doom with secrets flying around about how to resurrect the dead.
