First Official Marvel’s Jessica Jones Trailer Released
Today, the trailer for the Netflix original series Marvel’s Jessica Jones was revealed at Comic Con Paris with series stars Krysten Ritter and Carrie-Anne Moss.
The trailer gives us our first real look at the characters in action as we see a Jessica Jones that’s struggling with being a hero in a downtrodden, less glamorous world than the Avengers. Series antagonist The Purple Man, played by David Tennent, is shown, albeit briefly, with large hints at the kind of sadistic powers he has and the kind of sadistic things he does to people. Mike Colter‘s Luke Cage also has a large role in the trailer, shown to have a strong kinship with Jessica Jones that will likely grow well into his own solo series.
The series will premiere on November 20, 2015 at 8.01am in all territories where Netflix is available.
