The 67th Emmy awards happened last night and there were some remarkable surprises, some disappointments and some predictable conclusions! Game of Thrones took home another rake of awards, while Parks and Recreation has sadly ended its seven season run without a single successful nomination. The most lovely award, though, was for Jon Hamm who finally, after eight years, got an Emmy for his role as Don Draper on Mad Men.
Viola Davis has become the first black woman to win ‘Best Actress in a Drama’ for her role in How To Get Away With Murder. while Inside Amy Schumer took home the award for ‘Outstanding Variety Sketch Series’, both results being very hard to argue with!
