PlayStation are bringing back their Play At Home initiative this March, as they release the 2016 Ratchet & Clank, for FREE. It will be available to any owner of an active PlayStation account until March 31st and you don’t need to be a PS Plus or PS Now subscriber. Just head over to the PS Store and add it to your library. It will be yours to keep forever.

This is an ideal time to grab this iconic duo’s title, as it’s an solid and entertaining platformer. Filled with wacky weapons, tongue and cheek humour and a gorgeous vibrant art style, Ratchet & Clank is a fun title to keep you entertained. Great to replay or as an introduction to the series, the title is a soft reboot, with the story based on the original PS2 game, but with upgraded visuals, updated mechanics and tightened controls. It also come a few months before the next entry to the series, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which will come to PlayStation 5 on June 11th.

Play At Home

First introduced in April 2020, the Play At Home initiative was introduced to give free titles to the PlayStation users. This was to help entertain, as the global COVID-19 pandemic introduced movement and lockdown restrictions in various parts of the world. Sony offered Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for a number of weeks, until mid-May.

Play At Home returns this month and will run for 4 months. Ratchet & Clank (2016) is the first announced title. It will be available between March 1st-31st. Expect more announcements for the remaining games in the coming weeks.
