Over 20 Indie Games Coming Game Pass Day 1, Including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
The team at ID@Xbox had a hefty showcase this week, which revealed over 100 games that are in the making from independent developers. While many will come to multiple platforms, some are exclusive to Xbox and some will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day 1 of release.
Below, we have a list of 22 titles that are coming to Game Pass upon release. We don’t have dates for all the games, but I’ll update information when announced. I’ll also leave a note if they are coming to multiple platforms too.
Art of the Rally
Release Date: Summer Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console
This low-poly rally title from Funselektor Labs Inc., which first released on PC, will be coming to Game Pass this Summer. Race across 60 stages across different difficulties, in this interesting looking title.
Astria Ascending
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console
This turn-based JRPG, sees eight heroes charged with the fate of the world. Each character has their own story, explored across five cities, twenty-five dungeons and thirty plus hours of gameplay. There is range of side quests and mini-games, to keep you busy too. Astria Asscending will come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in 2021.
Backbone
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console
Backbone is a noir roleplaying detective adventure, set in a world of anthropomorphic beings, you play a raccoon private detective Sniff out clues and evidence, interrogate a diverse cast of characters, solve stealth puzzles and choose which leads to follow. Coming to PC and consoles in 2021.
Boyfriend Dungeon
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Console, PC
This dungeon-crawler sees you dating your weapons! Take your swords and daggers out on dates to level them up between fights and maybe even fall in love. Find love later this year, on Switch, PC, Mac and Xbox.
Craftopia
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Console, PC
Craftopia is the brand new multiplayer survival action game made in Japan. We combined many features we find enjoyable, such as hunting, farming, hack-and-slash, building, automation to develop this game.
Dead Static Drive
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Console, PC
Dead Static Drive is about a nightmare road trip and the extremes of personal circumstances the characters are put into and their emotional reactions. This survival horror game is coming to Linux, Microsoft Windows & Xbox One.
Edge of Eternity
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console

Hello Neighbor 2

This stealth horror, has you uncovering your creepy neighbor’s secrets. Play against a complex opponent controlled by an advanced AI that learns from you and all the other players! The AI will adaptive to your playstyle, for even more tense moments. The game is set to only come to Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC on launch.
Library of Ruina

Little Witch in the Woods

Little Witch in the Woods is a fantasy role playing game where you get to live the life of a witch. Your ultimate goal is to mastery witchery, by learning potions as an apprentice at the witches house and gathering materials from across the land, a magical and mystical place full of unique experiences. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, Mac and Xbox this year.
Moonglow Bay
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console
Moonglow Bay is a relaxing slice-of-life fishing RPG launching sometime in 2021. The game is set 1980’s Eastern Canadian coastline and tasks you to find and log over 100 species. It will also come to PC via Steam.
Narita Boy
Release Date: March 30th Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console
This 80’s inspired, narrative-drive adventure, has you exploring a tech world, taking on bosses and trying to stop a corrupted program. As well as coming to Xbox systems (and part of Game Pass), it will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Linux, Mac too.
Nobody Saves the World

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
Release Date: 2021 Game Pass Platform: Cloud, Console
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a blend of FPS, immersive sim and horror set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Your decisions in the open world, will determine your playthrough. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming to PC and exclusively to Xbox consoles.
