The Academy announced the list of Oscar nominations earlier today. A huge congratulations to Kilkenny based studio Cartoon Saloon, who received their fourth consecutive feature film Oscar nomination. This year, their latest movie Wolfwalkers was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film. A joint venture between Cartoon Saloon and Mélusine, the film is directed by Tomm Moore & Ross Stewart and can currently be enjoyed on Apple TV.
Wolfwalkers will go up against Onward (Pixar), Over the Moon (Netflix), A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (Netflix) & Soul (Pixar). The Oscars will take place on April 26th at 1am GMT. We wish them the best of luck.
