Matt Reeves, director of the upcoming new take for Batman, has revealed the films logo for The Batman via Twitter. This comes ahead of this weekends DC FanDome event, which is a 24 hour streamed event, packed with panels, trailers, interviews and announcements for DC properties across comics, film, TV and gaming alike.
Alongside the logo, there Reeves also released some awesome artwork from legendary comic-book artist and DC Comics Creative Officer, Jim Lee.
Robert Pattinson will be taking up the cowl and will be portraying billionaire Bruce Wayne, in his earlier years of being The Batman. Zoë Kravitz will be playing Selina Kyle / Catwoman.
The rest of the cast is rounded out with the likes of Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth & Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin.
There will be a panel for the film this weekend, as part of DC FanDome on August 22nd. You can catch it 1.30am BST(Aug 23rd) / 2.30am CEST(Aug 23rd) / 5.30pm PT / 830pm ET
Some of the film has been filmed, with it to continue over the coming months. The Batman is set to release on October 21st 2021.
