Just when you think HITMAN can’t get anymore immersive, IO Interactive have announced that PlayStation VR support is coming to HITMAN 3 and across all previous levels of HITMAN 1 & 2! It was recently announced PS VR and several accessories, such as PS Move, will be compatible with PlayStation 5. Expect more details in the coming months.
With the last in the trilogy set to release in January 2021, the franchise is a fantastic playground of stealth, planning and assassination. Bringing the perspective to first person only adds to the immersion of being Agent 47.
It’s unknown if it’s a PS VR exclusive or will the mode come to the PC version, but I for one am very excited to be in the suit and red tie role of Agent 47 and test my skills across 20+ levels across the trilogy.
HITMAN 3 will releases for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X sometime in January 2021.
