Nintendo Switch Online paid membership service begins September 19th. The company confirmed the date in a press release.

Nintendo are following in the footsteps of their competitors, Microsoft and Sony. Their paid membership service boasts:

The paid membership comes with several different payment options. If you pay €19.99 you’ll unlock membership for a year, a special family deal of €34.99 allows Switch players to use 8 Nintendo accounts on the Switch with onlinle membership.

In other Nintendo news the Nintendo Direct broadcast initially scheduled for last week takes place tonight. The programme features upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch titles. The broadcast will air from 11pm, check out the Nintendo Direct website to watch live.
