Could Kit Harington play the next Batman?
Well according to a report from Revenge of the Fans, it is or was a possibility. Seemingly Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment floated the idea of Harington playing Bruce Wayne some time back. There has been a lot of speculation as to who will play Batman in Matt Reeves’ next film. Other names that have circled the role include Jake Gyllenhaal and Jack Huston.
Jon Hamm recently threw his hat into the ring for the role. Or he sort of did!
In an interview with In Depth with Graham Bensinger, Hamm commented on his love for comics and the possibility of playing Wayne.
“I’d probably fit the suit. I’d have to work out a lot, which I don’t love. But, I am sure there is an interesting version of that being out there. And if they wanted to tap me on the shoulder and ask me to do it: why not?”
Hamm was quick to point out though that rumours of him playing a version of Batman have circulated online since the first season Mad Men!
So it’s still not clear who will don the cowl and cape but rest assured when we know; you will know!
