Marvel’s Iron Fist season one met with very mixed reviews from fans and critics. The Netflix series told the story of orphaned survivor Danny Rand returning to New York, reclaiming his name and tracking down a shadow organisation. While the show had a lot going for it; one thing many fans highlighted were the poor fight scenes. Rapid cuts in between punches and kicks, left many viewers down in the action scenes.

Finn Jones who played Rand had seemingly not been as trained in fighting scenes before the first season. With shoot schedules tight and budgets/deadlines to consider, it meant there wasn’t sufficient time to train him before production. It was very obvious to all watching too and many were quick to voice their disappointment.

Now it seems those misgivings have been heard loud and clear. Netflix have released a short feature, highlighting the work of stunt coordinator/second director Clayton Barber.

The second season of Iron Fist hits Netflix this September.

Jones returns as Rand alongside Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing. Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Sacha Dhawan as Davos are all returning.

Alice Eve has been confirmed to play villain Typhoid Mary.
