Death Note’s Light And Ryuk Meet In Netflix Teaser
Whether it’s a good or bad thing, the live action Deathnote film has been everywhere, and Netflix is really pushing the boat out with teasers and images updates.
Death Note is set for release on August 25. The most recent teaser released was the moment where Ryuk and Light meet. Check it out below:
This film has faced some major back lash. Not only for the fact it is another Hollywood (ish) adaptation, but for its casting choices. I am all for withholding judgement until it has been released, but from this clip and previous clips released, it is clear there will be many issues with this film.
However, even I have to admit that William Defoe as Ryuk was an excellent choice; he is terrifying as he should be but also haunting. Only time will tell with this one!
