So we know that Marvel’s Inhumans is getting the IMAX treatment for release. The first two episodes will screen in IMAX cinemas September 1.
The series will focus on the Inhumans Royal family. In early May we got our first look at the members of the family. I was, like so many others, left feeling a little underwhelmed. It would seem someone told the folks in marketing and the post for the first season certainly looks better than the cast photo:
The poster gives us what we wanted the whole time; Medusa’s hair! In the cast photo Medusa looked as bored and flat as her hair. She looks a little more alive in the poster and her hair is everywhere! Iwan Rheon as Maximus and Anson Mount as his older brother Black Bolt also feature – are we looking at some sort of love trist? Maximus is hardly the nicest Inhuman on the planet so perhaps the series will see him attempting to subvert his older brother’s rule.
The complete series will then air from September 29. Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Ken Leung as Karnak.
