In case you haven’t heard the news, Melissa Rauch of The Big Bang Theory is our new Harley Quinn. That’s right; Rauch will take on Harley in the upcoming animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn.
The animated feature will see the semi-reformed Harley team up with a reluctant Batman (Kevin Conroy) and eager Nightwing (Loren Lester). The trio must investigate and uncover a plot by Poison Ivy and Plant-Master that could destroy the entire world.
In a special behind the scenes sneak peek, we get to hear Rauch’s interpretation of the character:
I have to say I actually really like what Melissa is doing with the character. The voice is packed full of crazy but there is a softness to it that we haven’t seen since Batman The Animated Series.
Make sure you stick around till the end of the 9 minute clip for what I hope isn’t just a gag reel! Batman and Harley Quinn is certainly shaping up to be one of the best animated DC features in a long time!
