This week marks the return of Supernatural! I am ridiculously excited for the twelfth season. So, it’s only natural that I chose this track to show you guys today! If you aren’t up to date on season 11, be wary of watching the video as there may be spoilers for episode 20!
Our favourite prophet Chuck, played by Rob Benedict, sang a beautiful cover of Fare Thee Well/Dink’s Song. The song is originally an American folk song. Bob Dylan, Oscar Isaac and Jeff Buckley are among some of the other artists to have versions of this song. Chuck sang it at the end of the episode ‘Don’t Call Me Shurley’, and the first time I heard it, I actually teared up. Rob has a gorgeous voice, don’tcha think?
Aside from playing Chuck in Supernatural, he’s also the lead singer in a fantastic band called Louden Swain.
