Sony have been sending out invites for a PlayStation Meeting, which will take place at the PlayStation Theater, which is located in Times Square at 3pm ET on September 7.
No other information has been released as of yet, but a first look at the PlayStation Neo is expected. This is reported to be an upgraded version of the PlayStation 4 with added power and 4K output.
Just before this year’s E3, Sony executive Andrew House confirmed that a new, more-powerful PlayStation 4 is coming, but would not be unveiled at E3.
This type of invitation was used in the build up of the PlayStation 4 way back in January 2013, where Sony sent out invites to media outlets, posted videos and artwork showcasing the evolution of PlayStation and eventually announcing the PlayStation 4 at the event on February 20 2013.
Expect to get some more updates for the PlayStation Meeting as we come closer to the event on September 7 2016 at 3pm ET (8am Irish time).
