‘Battle of Gods’ came to cinemas in March 2013. It’s the 18th film in the franchise and was the first one in 17 years to have a theatrical release. It was also the first ever Japanese film that IMAX digital theatres ever screened. It’s the first film considered to be part of the official Dragon Ball Z storyline. It is set during a time-skip in chapter 517.

‘Resurrection ‘F” was the 19th movie in the franchise and was the first Japanese film that IMAX 3D screened. It was also screened in 4DX theatres. It was the second of the movies that Akira Toriyama supervised. Toriyama was the original creator of Dragonball Z, and his work on the movie gives it even more legitimacy. Toei Company released the film on April 18, 2015.

Sky Cinema will air Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F’ at 6:10PM on the 13th August and the 20th August respectively. Are you going to tune in? Let us know in the comments below!
