Batman: The Killing Joke Trailer Is No Joke
Feast your beady Joker loving eyeballs on the official trailer for Batman: The Killing Joke.
This is our first proper look at the animation of the animated feature with a teaser trailer back in April offering only a small glimpse.
One Bad Day…
It looks different right? Fans have also noticed; the animation style appears to have dropped frames in scenes shattering the motion illusion. Clearly intentional… or at least hopefully so, we won’t know just how this will hinder/help the feature. The graphic novel, on which the feature is set, is considered by many to be one of the darkest stories for the Dark Knight. How and if it all ties together is anyone’s guess.
Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy reprise their roles as the Joker and Batman with Tara Strong along for the ride as Harley Quinn.
Batman: The Killing Joke is set for a one-night theatrical release July 25th and on Blu-ray July 26th.
