Out of the frying pan and into the fire – That was the thought that ran through my head after seeing the season three finale of The 100. And with that ending, we’re left to wait for season four, which won’t hit our screens until 2017.
We do have some news to tie us over. It seems that in the midst of impending doom, two new Grounders will be introduced to Skaikru. Whether as friend or foe remains to be seen.
Firstly we have Hugo. He is said to be a physically intimidating man in his twenties with leadership qualities. He is also said to be torn up over the actions he took while under ALIE’s control.
Joining him will be Kenza. She is a younger Grounder who is said to be devout. She gave up her sword in favour of peace some time ago – Luna anyone?

So what is in store for Skaikru next? It’s possible ALIE was lying, but I doubt that. Could we see them return to space? Lexa and Ontari are both dead, leaving only one nightblood in Luna. Will she accept the role? Or will we see the Grounders change their customs amidst a power struggle?
The cast and crew will be questioned at their panel at SDCC this Friday, and hopefully we’ll get more answers.
