Fans of the recently released X-Men Apocalypse would quickly recognise Olivia Munn as Psylocke; an assassin with psychic powers and one of Apocalypse’s four Horsemen.
In an interview with USAToday, she claimed she would love to see Psylocke team up with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in an X-Force film. She said “That would be a really cool thing to do…It would definitely be cool to see Deadpool and some other X-Men characters gather for an X-Force movie.”
This team-up would not be a far stretch since the two characters can already be seen together in the Uncanny X-Force comic series, which ran back in 2010. While an X-Force film has been in the works for the past couple of years, there has been no word on its progress in a long time. Reynolds himself is hopeful for an X-force film, calling it his “priority” in an interview with FILMSTARTS.
With the Marvel universe ever expanding, hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to see the two pair up on-screen!
