The Dark Tower has been filming for about a week in Cape Town, South Africa.
It was only a matter of time that this would happen and last night the first images of Idris Elba suited up as Roland Deschain, the last gunslinger, began to make the rounds on Twitter.

I’m not going to lie, personally speaking I screamed with excitement when I saw them. I still have my doubts about the film (mostly about some story liberties they seem to be taking) but after seeing this images I have no doubt that Idris Elba will aim with his eye, shoot with his mind and kill with his heart.
