After the success of the last two series’ of Telltales The Walking Dead, it should come as no surprise that season 3 is on the horizon. Along with news of a Telltale Batman series and the recent release of TWD Michonne, the company has announced that they will be continuing Clementine’s story in season 3 despite the closure granted to her story in season 2.
Telltale Games CEO Kevin Brumer told Mashable: “When we got to Season 2, we had a plan in the back of our minds of how we would make all these endings keep those threads going forward,” In his words, the next season will take an “unexpected” approach towards storytelling and he went on to explain: “We’ve got a strategy to help season 3 players. […] We didn’t have the cloud services in season 1 that we have now. So we’re going to have a solution for everybody that we’re not talking about it yet.”
More information on The Walking Dead season 3 is set to drop at this summer’s San Diego Comic Con, with an expected release later in 2016.
In the mean time, let’s speculate where Clementines story will take her! Are you excited to continue it or do you think it was better left alone? Let us know in the comments!
