Elite: Dangerous is a dangerous monster to tackle if you’re one to dislike space-sims with hundreds of buttons. But thanks to voice-recognition software like VoiceAttack, going boldly where no man has gone before is a little less intimidating.
Elite: Dangerous developer Frontier Developments has officially licensed voice packs for the software in partnership with HCS VoicePacks to produce AI response dialogue. Actors such as Tom Baker (Doctor Who), Brian Blessed (Flash Gordon) and now Captain Kirk himself William Shatner have recorded lines. Check it out below:
The voice pack is available to purchase here and you’ll need a copy of VoiceAttack and of course Elite: Dangerous.
