Olivia Munn recently participated in a quick Q & A session in relation to her role as Psylocke in upcoming feature X-Men: Apocalypse.
One particular question posed to Munn was about who would emerge victorious in a clash between Psylocke and fan-favourite Wolverine. Munn explained: “When I was training for Psylocke, one of the things we worked on was using two blades possibly and making that an option for her in a fight scene…when I have my psionic blades I actually fight a lot like Wolverine. He’s got his claws that come out…so there’s a lot fighting like that because the psionic blades are part of my arms. So we would have a similar fighting style, so it would be a pretty even match I think, but: Psylocke.”
Bold words, indeed!
Unfortunately, Hugh Jackman is very unlikely to have any major involvement with Apocalypse, so there’s little chance of putting the theory to the test.
