[Major potential spoilers ahead. Read at your peril!]
Thor: Ragnarok has long been hinted to be the biggest Thor movie yet. Already we have not only heard that Mark Ruffalo will be appearing as the Hulk, teaming up with Thor in a cosmic quest, but that this appearance may also have traces of the famous Planet Hulk storyline.
However, an even bigger spoiler may have recently been revealed. Cate Blanchett‘s role as Hela, deity of the Norse underworld, has largely been shrouded in mystery. But a recent article by the Latino Review has hinted at Hela as a truly formidable opponent with some potentially immense spoilers.
Apparently Hela will not only hand the crown prince of Asgard’s behind to him, smashing Mjonlnir in the process, but she will also murder Thor’s close friend Heimdall (Idris Elba). If these rumours are indeed true, the writers may be making a pretty risky decision, considering Heimdall hasn’t exactly received as much plot relevant screen time as many feel the character deserves.
