I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve tried to get my parents to try gaming. The closest I ever came was the hour or so my dad spent playing Hotel Dusk, which he then abandoned. Because of this, I’m always pretty envious of people who manage to inspire a shared interest in gaming with their parents, so this guy and his dad that reenacts Final Fantasy VII summons certainly has my props.
The video below by Nick Luciano shows his dad recreating several animations from Final Fantasy 7. It includes every single summon, Cloud’s poses from Dissidia, and the victory poses from earlier titles. His attempts are hilarious, and after watching them I’m seriously hoping for an Odin reskin where he carries a flat mop to pop up soon.
