Are you a 5 Seconds of Summer fan? Do you have a sense of humour? If not, probably best to stay away from this video by New Found Glory, then.

New Found Glory have way more of a right to rip the mickey out of 5SOS than many other bands, as without them the Australian pop-punk kids wouldn’t even exist. New Found Glory defined what pop-punk was in the early 2000s, releasing iconic tune after iconic tune, and this track off their most recent album Resurrection proves that they’ve still got it a decade and a half later.

‘Ready and Willing’ is a great pop-punk tune with the bass mixed right to the front (which is a personal taste of mine, being a bassist and all). Vocalist Jordan Pundik makes it seem like the years between Sticks and Stones and now didn’t happen, and the gang vocals in the bridge would be great to chant along with at a live show. It’s sunny, upbeat and good fun, and I reckon we need some of that during this gloomy-ass winter, eh?
