The first trailer for High-Rise is easily one of the most intriguing trailers of recent times. Tom Hiddleston narrates the teaser as an advertisement for the high rise community that’s the subject matter of the film, talking about how perfect life will be if you choose to move into one of its apartments.

Based on the book by J. G. Bellard, High-Rise is a story of an isolated inner society that eventually fragments due to the classism that exists within it. Think Snowpiercer and The Hunger Games for cultural touchstones. The trailer hints at a lot of the same ideas as the novel, with the core of the movie being about conflict and inherent systems that society will always end up in, regardless of intentions.
With Tom Hiddleston leading the cast and Ben Wheatley directing (A Field In England), the movie has a lot of potential.
High-Rise is coming into cinemas sometime in 2016.
