With Star Trek Beyonds and Independence Day: Resurgence trailers recently released, it looks like 2016 is going to be a pretty epic year in the film industry. That also includes some under-the-radar sci-fi offerings including Synchronicity, a time travel noir thriller written and directed by Jacob Gentry.
The plot focuses on physicist named Jim Beale (Chad McKnight) whose new invention is able to fold space and time to create wormholes. But things start to take a turn when a mysterious flower appears out of nowhere and his love interest Abby (Brianne Davis) isn’t exactly who she says she is.
