In a recent developer update by Jeff Kaplan, director of Overwatch, it has been revealed that there will be plans for additional Heroes added for free to the game post launch.

As it stands there are currently 21 characters to be released with the new team-based multi-player shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment.
The game is scheduled to be released on the June 21st of next year with the option of accessing the beta if you have the money to pre-purchase the game.
