At Jump Festa 2015 Shueisha, publisher of the D.Gray-man manga series announced that it would be returning to TV with a new anime series with a whole new cast.
Shueisha unveiled the trailer above as well as a new website for the series while the official twitter revealed the poster for the new series with the tag line “I want to live. Even if I destroy you.”
For anyone who is unfamiliar with the widely loved D.Gray-man, it’s set in an alternative form of the early 20th century while the story follows Allen Walker a young man who winds up becoming an exorcist for a group called the Black Order who try and protect the world from the evil Millennium Earl.
Bar 2016 release there is no concrete date of release for the series but it will have a stage program at Anime Japan 2016 which will be held in Tokyo in March.
