November has been a fantastic time for K-pop comebacks, so Kpop Ireland decided to share some of our favourites with you!
VIXX – ‘Chained Up’
This is the title song of VIXX’s second studio album of the same name. Ravi helped write lyrics for 10 of the 12 songs on the album. In this track, the members of VIXX sing about being chained up by love (Get your minds out of the gutter!).
EXID – ‘Hot Pink’
EXID came back during the week with their highly anticipated track ‘Hot Pink’. As always it’s a catchy, sexy track with great lyrics. The morning after the song was released, it had reached #1 on five Korean music charts.
EXO – Lightsaber
Declan already made a post about this but the song is fantastic and needs to be shared again. This is not the first time Disney and SM Entertainment (the company EXO are with) have collaborated and hopefully it won’t be the last!
B.A.P – Young, Wild and Free
On November 16th, B.A.P released their fourth mini album Matrix, produced by member Bang Yongguk, along with the music video for their title track ‘Young, Wild and Free’. (and don’t worry noonas! Zelo is 19 now!)
CL – ‘Hello Bitches’
The baddest female is back! This fantastic track is pre-promotion for her solo debut in the States and features director/producer Parris Goebel and ReQuest Crew. It is also available as a free download on Soundcloud.
Brown Eyed Girls – ‘Warm Hole’
It is totally okay if your mind is in the gutter now because the ladies of BEG are singing about EXACTLY what you think they are. This catchy tune is from BEG is from their sixth album Basic. They also released another song on the same day, called ‘Brave New World‘.
iKon – ‘Anthem’
iKon also came back with a double track single this month – ‘Apology‘ which is about a breakup from the perspective of a ‘bad boy’, and Anthem, a very energetic track by Bobby and B.I., the groups rapper duo.
Dynamic Duo – ‘Jam’
Dynamic Duo recently released their eighth album Grand Carnival, and the music video for their fun track ‘Jam’. They also dress up as Big Bang in the video, with a clever reference to them in the lyrics.
9Muses – ‘Sleepless Night’
9Muses have had quite a few comebacks this year, but ‘Sleepless Night’ is definitely one to check out! It has a beautiful piano melody, and is also produced by Brave Brothers.
Jay Park – ‘You Know’
Jay Park recently dropped his studio album Worldwide. It includes a total of 18 tracks and guest verses by 27 artists. The guest rapper in this sexy hip-hop song is Okasian and is produced by AOMG’s Cha Cha Malone. The video also includes a cameo from Hyuna!
