Toonami To Air Dragon Ball Super English Dub
Toonami has released a statement revealing that they will be airing an English language dub of Dragon Ball Super on their channel throughout India and Southeast Asia in 2016. This marks the first occasion where Toonami will debut a series in English first.
Chief Content Officer for Turner’s Kids Networks, Mark Eyers, revealed in the official statement:
“This announcement is huge for fanboys and girls in Asia. Dragon Ball is undoubtedly the original and world’s biggest anime export, and is a cornerstone of our programming on Toonami… Since the channel launched in 2012, Toonami has been airing episodes of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai, and to premiere Dragon Ball Super demonstrates the channel’s continued commitment to securing must-have and must-see content, first on Toonami.”
This will be an exclusive first-run premiere on Toonami in these territories, with wester audiences expected to get it sometime thereafter
