Cate Blanchett May Star In Adaptation Of ‘Where’d You Go, Bernadette?’

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that ‘Cate Blanchett is in negotiations to star in Where’d You Go, Bernadette? for Annapurna Pictures’ with Richard Liknklater (Boyhood) as director.
The film is based on the 2012 novel by Maria Semple. Without giving too much away, the plot centres on the disappearance of one Bernadette Fox following a school fundraiser. It is narrated by Bernadette’s 15-year-old daughter.
According to Collider, The film has a script by the men behind (500) Days of Summer and The Fault in Our Stars, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
