Marvel Teases Possible Sequel Civil War Comic Series For 2016
So it looks like a sequel is in the works for one of Marvel’s most popular comic series Civil War.
Comic retailers received post cards from Marvel which featured Iron Man and Captain America (Sam Wilson) battling it out in a style that is comparable to the covers on the original Civil War series. On the back of the postcard were the roman numerals II in Civil War‘s red font with the date ‘spring 2016’.
Retailer Ryan Higgins, owner of Comics Conspiracy in California, shared his postcard through Twitter.

The original series, written by Mark Millar with art by Steve McNiven and inked by Decter Vines, is one of the most iconic in the modern Marvel universe. It tells the story of Captain America going against Iron Man over the Superhero Registration Act and features a whole host of Marvel characters battling it out.
This release will coincide with that of Captain America: Civil War scheduled for May 6, 2016 – so there’s also that to consider!
With this year’s New York Comic Con taking place later this week, it’s possible that more details surrounding this teaser may surface in the near future.
