F. Gary Gray is being tipped as a potential director of Black Panther for Marvel.
Variety‘s Justin Kroll writes that Straight Outta Compton was a “massive hit that has kept the director in demand since its release. Gray is said to also be a contender to direct Black Panther for Marvel”.
Yesterday Collider‘s Dave Trumbore wrote that Gray was “the frontrunner to inherit the high-octane film franchise” for Fast And Furious 8. As a director, Gray radically differs from Ava DuVernay, who turned the gig down this summer.
