Ghostbusters director Paul Feig just revealed a massive surprise!
“Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak,” he tweeted, “so I’ll tell you myself: the awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!”
Sigourney Weaver will join fellow Ghostbuster alums Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts in the upcoming reboot, which has just wrapped principal photography.
In the original 1984 movie Weaver played Dana Barrett, a cellist whose apartment was haunted by a pesky demigod. She also starred in the 1989 sequel.
Ghostbusters, which opens July 22nd 2016, stars Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Chris Hemsworth.
