Lara Croft will soon be gracing our consoles once again in Rise of the Tomb Raider. In the latest trailer, a voice-over describes Lara’s intrepid adventures as being that of a pioneer who defines the future of mankind while we see demonstrations of the kind of environments we can guide Croft through as we play the game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a sequel to the critically acclaimed reboot of Tomb Raider that reset Lara’s story, explaining how she became the world renowned raider of tombs that we now know. The new game is a timed Xbox One exclusive and has seen some discussion surrounding its gameplay as early demos have shown it leaning towards action rather than adventuring. However, this new trailer shows that there will be plenty of exploring to be done nonetheless.
