Last night during Minority Report and Gotham over on Fox, two new X-Files promos landed. Together, they give the greatest look yet into the tone and feel of the upcoming return of the Chris Carter-helmed show.
The six episode mini-series, called an ‘event’ series, will see the return of Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) as well as a host of familiar co-stars as they’re once again caught up in some form or other of nefarious activity. From the sounds of Mulder during this teaser, the government is involved once again.
The X-Files return (still so satisfying to write) in January on Fox.
